This was my first attempt at creating an interactive novel. I spent several weeks in the early stages familiarizing myself with the creation tool Twine and trying to learn JavaScript to implement animations. The following weeks were spent writing the script and creating illustrations.

The game revolves around the character Xiao Yan, who transitions from a prodigious talent to being deemed useless, and ultimately finds his way back to power through perseverance and discovery. This narrative arc not only explores the themes of resilience and redemption but also integrates the fantasy elements of magic and ancient secrets that I am deeply passionate about.
